As I review my work at NYU, I see several thematic patterns. With this project, I strive to unify my disparate themes by boiling them down to their essential subject.

What I've arrived at is what I call the body landscape. This is a connective term, that which connects and unites the substrate of the earth with the marrow of the bone. It is meant to dissolve the hard and fast divisions between the physicality of science and the spirituality of metaphysics.

We often forget that there is a mythic bond that the body maintains with its surrounding landscape. I aim to convey this within the frame of a narrative; in Niagara, through the story of two women reckoning with the flux of their bodies.

Please help me physicalize these articulations. With my NYU Thesis Film I plan to express this perspective in its most effective and sensual medium: the moving image.
