ABOUT


I moved to New York City in 2007 to attend NYU’s Tisch Film program. Since then, I have been working in the industry as a film editor and independent filmmaker. I’m a San Francisco native and a current resident of Brooklyn.

My work has played at the Slamdance Film Festival, Festival international Signes de Nuit, and the International Film Festival Rotterdam and has appeared on BBC America, PBS, MTV Networks, and across cinemas in the US and UK.

When Reed’s brother goes missing, he takes on his brother’s identity in order to uncover the mystery behind his disappearance.

As Reed falls deeper into the phantom of his brother’s life, he struggles to grow beyond his adolescence and into the stronghold of manhood.

During a camping trip, young Kiley notices her body change. Meanwhile, a female diver uncovers an occult artifact from the shore near Niagara Falls.

Niagara is a non-linear exploration of the psychic bond between the natural body and the body of nature.

The film premiered at the Festival International Signes de Nuit and was broadcast on French television. It will enjoy its internet premiere in 2015.

Trapped in his drafty apartment on New Year’s Eve, an aging man tries to protect a litter of newborn rabbits from the cold. In the meantime he watches recordings of previous years' New Year and dreams of another time.

Inspired by aboriginal Dreamtime, Desert Hopes is a meditation on the nature of time and all that is impermanent.

The short enjoyed its world premiere at the 2013 Slamdance Film Festival and its international premiere at the 2014 International Film Festival Rotterdam.

EDITORIAL


My editorial career began at Tartan Films, an indie film distributor, and followed at BBC Worldwide Americas. In 2014 I left BBC to pursue a full-time freelance career.

I've spent five years cutting trailers for theatrical and home video releases. I’ve also cut dozens of narrative pieces, both documentary and fiction, and have become a skilled designer of titlecards and animated graphics.

I’m fluent in Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop. I am also well versed in authoring DVD, Blu-ray, and DCP.
